A Salute to Heroes

7 p.m. --
Montgomery County, Strathmore and the BSO at Strathmore present the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in a free concert on the lawn and under the stars at Strathmore at 7 p.m. The BSO will play the music of Haydn, as well as pay tribute to the heroes and victims of 9-11 with American classics, such as Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man."
Sponsored by Lockheed Martin, the performance is free, but tickets are required.
Tickets are limited and can be obtained online by clicking here, or by picking them up in person at the Mansion at Strathmore, located at 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD. Tickets cannot be mailed.
Please, no dogs allowed and bring a blanket or low beach chair. Concertgoers can take Metro’s Red Line to the Grosvenor-Strathmore station or park in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage.
