NEWS! Chevy Chase Guinea Pig for Speeder Camera Program.
Full Description:
The Chevy Chase Village Police Department installed a speeder camera on Connecticut Avenue earlier this summer to measure speeding statistics around the area. The CCVPD says that tests are encouraging but there are currently no definite plans for teh program. Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. attempted to veto speeder cameras in 2002 but that decision was overturned by the legislature.
