DC Urban Moms is a resourse for families in the DC area, focusing on newer Moms and Dads. Please use the list to contribute, ask, respond, etc. to questions or statements posed by the members. DC Urban Moms was created to be that help that normally would be reserved for family and very special friends, but because of our similar situations, the community of parents in Washington DC is needed. Most of our families do not have their families to turn to. Washington, DC is a transient city and an international city, and these issues present challenges unlike a suburban or small town.
