Full Description:
The Audubon Nature Preschool is a five-day program for children between 3 1/2 and 5 years of age. It is located in the Edwin Way Teale Learning Center at the Woodend Nature Sanctuary, Chevy Chase, Maryland.

The Audubon Nature Preschool believes children benefit from exploring the natural surroundings of the sanctuary, which offer endless opportunities for investigation and discovery. The children's education is enriched by programs led by Director/Teacher Stephanie Bozzo, Classroom Teacher Katie Rooney, ANS staff naturalists, and our visiting storyteller. Stephanie Bozzo has taught kindergarten and preschool for the past seven years in classrooms with typically developing students as well as classrooms practicing the inclusion of students with special needs. The children benefit greatly from ANS staff naturalist visits and time spent with our storyteller. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, September through the end of May.
